The Film is was shot in a coastal area called Vembhar,near Kovilpatti in Tirunelvelli district. Huge sets were erected resembling a coastal village on the sea side for the film. The introductory song was filmed here, where huge crowd gathered from nearby villages. Sarath kumar sports in six diferent look for the film says "An untoward incident occurs in the year 1977, and it gets recorded incorrectly in the history books. The crux of the film revolves around how my character uncovers the truth and rewrites history. The film would be a thriller and has been shot in a stylistic manner." Certain section of the story takes place in Malaysia and Yang Kasim, a malaysian actor makes his debut as the villain. Vivek has been roped in for comedy.
Announcing details at a press meet, Sarath said the line goes as, A son who wants to prove his dad innocence. 60% of the movie was canned at Malaysia. A mumbai model, Sandhya Shetty will feature in a sizzling number in the film. Also, he added that he plays the role of a Nanotechnologist. The movie is planned to get released by this october - November. Post 1977 Sarath will act in KS Ravikumar's Jaggubhai.
