Actress Nayanthara this time pairs up with Arya for the film Boss Engira Bhaskaran, a romantic comedy flick that will be directed by Rajesh of 'SMS' fame. Santhanam provide the comic relief. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music. The story is about a guy who is always busy running errands for other people and neglecting his own life and career, till he meets a girl who brings about a change. After a small break, Rajesh, the director of Siva Manasula Sakthi (SMS), is back with his second film — Boss Engira Baskaran, which had its pooja launch recently.
Says Rajesh, “The script of Boss… has been ready for a long time. But, I didn’t immediately launch the film because I wanted Arya and Nayanthara to play the lead. I thought they would suit the roles perfectly. Arya has been a good friend ever since he made a guest appearance in my SMS. Nayanthara has a pretty south Indian face. She also knows Tamil, which is an added advantage. So, I waited for the two of them to get free from their other film commitments. Now, I think I have achieved a coup of sorts by making them pair up for the first time. The film also has Santhanam in a full-fledged role.”
The first schedule of the film will begin by the first week of December and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Sakthi Saravan.
