Well, had you ever imagined about a producer churning out various projects at the same time? Maybe, it’s a rarified situation as many autuers never intend to gear themselves for such speculative ventures. But the multi-faceted Dr. Srinivasan strikes out for a spectacular show by churning out 4-5 films at the same time. Dr. Srinivasan ardently believes in the mantra – You get the best out of others, when you give the best of yourself. Of course, it’s true that the producer has been associated with the right team. His brother-like pal ‘Punch’ Bharath and the entire technical crew of ‘Indrasena’ have teamed together for the second time.
‘Indrasena’ started rolling before a month and is almost close on the heels of completion. Meanwhile, the same team has embarked on their new project ‘Suranga Paadhai’….The film was launched in grandeur on Nov 29 at Maran House in Valasarwakkam followed by first take of shooting.

Dr. Srinivasan – Many have been persistently questioning about my sudden foray into filmdom. But it’s not something overnight decision… Perpetually, I have been laying my faith in a famous proverb – You don’t have to great to start, but you have to start to be great. All these films I have been involved (Indrasena, Anandha Thollai and Suranga Paadhai) completely vary in genres and so would be my portrayals.
Punch Bharath: We have almost finished filming ‘Indrasena’ (within 25 days) and plans have made to complete ‘Suranga Paadhai’ within short span of time. It’s all because of producers, who’ve been so lenient in providing us necessary facilities on shooting spots, we are able to complete each and every schedule with an ease,
Actress Yuvarani – I am grateful to filmmaker Punch Bharath and producer Srinivasan for having offered me to perform vital roles in their back-to-back projects – ‘Indrasena’ and ‘Suranga Paadhai’. I play the wife’s role of film’s antagonist who’s good and takes a bad avatar towards the world.
Music Director Tashi: Tashi needs no introduction. His contribution in world of music has been tremendous. Over here Tashi has expressed his gratitude to producers in a much out of the ordinary style for having roped him in for this project. “As the producers have offered me to expose my potentials in this film, I have indeed offered opportunities to new lyric writers and playback singers… ‘Suranga Paadhai has an interesting storyline and it peps up me to pitch with overpowering works for this flick….” says Tashi.
Jeya Singaraja started off his career as a still photographer and assisted various cinematographers. Later, Jeya Singaraja emerged as a successful cinematographer in various Kannada films and now cranks the camera for ‘Suranga Paadhai’.
