Vishal's next project after Thoranai would be 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai'. This film would be an romantic flick featuring Vishal with 3 top heroines. Tanushree appears in Tamil for the first time and Neetu Chandra,the Yaavarum Nalam girl is roped in and the 3rd girl is Sarah Jane, She makes her debut in Tamil. Tiru, is an associate of Director Rajasekhar. Tiru is the son-in-law of ace director Agathiyan and had married TV host Karthiga,who is the elder sister of actress vijayalakshmi.

TVP has more surprises in store. For one, the actor’s role in the film isn’t that of an altruist. It has certain negative traits. “You could say that I’m playing a role that could be considered anti-hero in a certain way,” the star disclosed at a press conference called to announce the status of the project, which is almost complete. The movie will also have two more heroines, in addition to the three bollywood girls. Two of the new entrants are yet to be disclosed. Speaking on this Vishal said,"We have shot portions of one of the guest actresses. The portions of the other guest actress haven’t been shot as of now,”

Yuvan Shankar Raja has rendered 5 songs. Earlier Vishal films which had Yuvan's music were Sandaikozhi, Thimuru & Thamiraparani. In Telugu,TVP is titled as 'Killadi'. Sun Pictures releases the film.
