PUBLIC NOTICE
Members of the public particularly those connected with the Film Trade are hereby informed that we have acquired the absolute assignment the Remake Rights of the Tamil cinematograph film “Kaakha Kaakha” starring Surya, Jotika and others directed by Mr. Gautham, Music by Mr. Haris Jayaraj (“Film”) for all languages including Hindi but save and except only South Indian Languages for the Whole World including India and for the full term of the copyright including all renewals thereof as per particulars in the Schedule appearing hereunder.
SCHEDULE
The said Remake Rights of the film “Kaakha Kaakha” (“Film”) means and includes the sole and exclusive rights to remake and/or authorize the remaking of any version(s) / remake(s) of the Film based on the Film and/or the screenplay thereof with or without the music thereof and containing substantially the same story and leading characters as those contained in the Film with full rights of exploitation in every possible manner the remake film(s) or the screenplay or the work thereof including without limitation the right to exploit or cause to be exploited the remake film(s) throughout the world in any and all media by any manner or means whether now known or invented in future for the full term of the copyright including the renewals therein in all languages including Hindi but save and except only South Indian Languages along with all the intellectual property rights therein and to the story, script, screenplay, scenario, dialogue, lyrics the literary, dramatic, artistic and musical work, entire treatment of the complete subject, any and all sound recordings including songs and the right to any and all and / or excerpts from its sound recordings, visuals and or all and any part of any bits or portion from any other film / films included / incorporated in and to the remake film(s) together with all and any rights comprised in the copyrights and related rights in and to the work contained in and to the remake film(s) including the right to make adaptation / publish / reproduce the remake film(s), its / their screenplay, the music etc. and to perform and broadcast the same in public.
In view of the above the Remake Rights of the aforesaid Film (for all languages save and except only South Indian Languages) vest exclusively with us and we alone are entitled to the rights and all copyrights in the Film as stated hereinabove and appropriate revenues arising therefrom. Except ourselves no other person(s), company(ies), association(s), firm(s) or group(s) are entitled to rights in the Film as stated above throughout the World including India and no other person or party has any right, title or interest whatsoever in such Remake Rights.
