Roma returns to kollywood for the film 'Vanjikottai Valiban' and plays opposite to Sakthi. The movie is not a remake of the classic older one. Music is scored by debutant Sadhaga Paravaigal Shankar,brother of diretor Saravanan who gave Silambattam. This would be a romantic flick with a strong message. Normally a girl’s heart is compared to a flower. But the heroine Roma’s is a tom boy. She is very stubborn that no man should enter her heart. How a man enters her heart is the story of this film. This film has romance, action and comedy.
Cinematographer Gopinath's first project in Tamil. He had earlier worked with Cameraman Vinod and worked in various films in Hindi and Telugu industries. S.K.Jeeva wields the megaphone. His earlier projects are Pudhumai Pithan and Lovely. Shooting for the film started from 22nd June at Gopichettipalayam. It would then be followed at Kovai, Tiruchengode and its nearby locations.
